New Look 6434: Embroidered Top with Dramatic Sleeve

New Look 6434 is a great top to sew if you like the fancy sleeve trend that is happening now in fashion.

Player 2 Patterns: Red Plaid Wine Bottle Gift Bag

I designed this new Player 2 Pattern with the holidays in mind (hence the red plaid), but really it would be great for a host gift any time of the year.  Also great for using up those scrap fabrics!

Simplicity 1366: Cynthia Rowley Skirt in Blue & Black Checkers

I like a lot of the Cynthia Rowley patterns for Simplicity, they're all very trendy.  I made this skirt pattern in the shorter length to kick off my sewing for the Fall/Winter 2018 season.

There's a top and a camisole that goes with this pattern as well.

Player 2 Patterns: Drawstring Gift Bags in 2 Sizes

Introducing another new pattern in my Etsy Shop!  The pattern for this Drawstring Gift Bag comes in a small and a large size.  It's quick and easy to sew and is a great way to use up some of your scrap fabrics while making a cute pouch that is perfect for wrapping gifts.

Player 2 Patterns: Pleated Make-Up Case in a Printed Floral

I've had this pattern in mind for a while.  It can be used as a make-up case, or a pencil case or to hold pretty much anything you want.

The fabric I used is actually quilting fabric, because I really liked the print.

I'm planning on sewing some of these for gifts at Christmas (yes, it's not too early to start thinking about your Christmas sewing and crafts!).

Very Easy Vogue V9021: Green Fitted Flutter Sleeve Dress

I've made this pattern before, and I really liked how it turned out, so I decided to try it again.  This time I made View B, which has a longer pencil skirt.

I had this green suiting fabric in my stash, which happens to be my favorite color.  It was great to work with.  My hat if from Indigo and my leopard print shoes are from Aldo. 

This is a great pattern, and even though I've already made it twice, I would definitely make it again - maybe in an interesting print next time.
