McCall's M7332: Uptown Funk Pink Jacket

I was inspired to make a pink jacket by Bruno Mars in his music video Uptown Funk.  I used pink satin to make McCall's M7332 jacket pattern with a satin floral print for the sleeve cuffs and the lapel.  I added a hat and sunglasses to style myself after Bruno Mars.

I would make a different variation of this jacket (like View D) again for fall.  Next time I think I would prefer to use a heavier weight fabric - maybe wool.  I think the vest would be a great addition to my wardrobe also.

Very Easy Vogue 9075: Springtime Floral Jumpsuit

Just finished this look in time for spring.  I've made Very Easy Vogue V9075 before - both the dress and the jumpsuit.  And I have even more fabric that I've already purchased to make it again.  Next time I will be making the dress from View A, but adding the sleeves from View B.

On the way back from this photoshoot, I went through the drive-thru for a coffee and the girl at the drive-thru window said she loved my outfit.  Then she called another girl over to the window to see it.  That made my day :) 

Player 2 Patterns: Cossack Fur Hat Pattern

I've always wanted one of these fur hats; it reminds me of the Boney M song Rasputin - especially the character from the 2010 Wii Video Game, Just Dance 2.  So I decided to make the pattern for it! So far, I've made one using upholstery fabric and wooden buttons (as seen below), but I will be sewing a second pillow so that I will have a matching set for my sofa.
